My Affection, my tribute to Depeche Mode, is finally out! Thanks to everyone that helped me realizing it: Francesco Sacchi (Vocal Director/Recording), Irc (Artwork design) and, of course, Raph (Piano) and Depeche Mode.

Exciting news for the project My Affection, the other side of ‘My Caress’. Irc, currently working on the double cd-single Ragazzo artworks will be the graphic artist also for My Affection. Useless to say that Synthesis is really happy for that!
Further news for the project My Affection, the other side of ‘My Caress’. Here what Synthesis has to say: “During the recording of the project I’ve changed in some ways how I’m using my voice, thanks both to Raph advice and to my vocal director Francesco Sacchi. For that reason I decided to record again the first 5 tracks I’ve already finished. In the first recording session, in less than 2 hours, I’ve already recorded 4 of them. The newer versions are really better than the old ones. In the final project you will be able to hear the difference from the preview!”. You can still download the preview GET IT HERE!

Thanx for having downloaded the preview in so many (I’m really pleased for the actual score of 98!). I’m currently remixing the whole work (12 songs)”. The last track for My Affection, the other side of ‘My Caress’ has been recorded! Synthesis said: “Well, i wanted for the 12th and final song something really special. I took the superlative Memphisto version from Raph and added vocals, almost improvised, from another fantastic DM song. Which one? Well, it will be a surprise! The version is really strange, but I like the final result! Next step is some home short videoclips recorded by Alex Lavecchia”. The videoclip has gone gold! Paolo Sala (he played guitars on the track, too) did a great job in editing and finalizing the video. Synthesis commented: “Well, that’s my first videoclip. I like it very much. Paolo and I stayed up till late last night to finish it. He did a great job. Another big thanks, of course, to Sabrina for her filming and pre-assembling. Stay tuned for the final release!”.

Due to the impossibility to continue with the production of the Ragazzo videoclip between Synthesis and Sabrina Lavecchia, Paolo Sala will be the new producer of the video itself. Synthesis commented: “I don’t want to talk about the past. I’m just enough disappointed. I’m really happy that Paolo agreed to help me and finish the videoclip. I’ve already worked with him and I know he will do a good job. Finally I can feel I’m close to finish it!”.

The setlist for the Ragazzo/Crystal Shard double Cd single is finally complete: 7 tracks each with remixes from Fatherless Child, The Skinflutes and, of course, Synthesis. An instrumental song called Untitled (Synthesis is currently writing it) will be present, too. The videoclip (unfinished yet, but on the way) of Ragazzo and a special live video recording of the same song will be downloadable, too (asap). Stay tuned for forthcoming updates!

Fatherless Child released a fantastic remix of Crystal Shard (plus an edit version, too), b-side of the Ragazzo single. Synthesis commented: “I cannot say if I prefer my version or the FC one: the remix he realized is amazing!”.

Synthesis wants to say ‘excuse’ for the lack of news during the latest 30 days. “I was really busy with my work and, in addition, I wasn’t in the right mood to record/remix songs for my forthcoming projects. Now I feel really positive and motivated and I will try to give you something, at least samples, before the end of this month. I want to thank these good friends of mine that are helping me so much in my projects: Francesco Sacchi (vocals direction and recording), Sabrina Lavecchia (videoclip of Ragazzo), Fatherless Child and The Skinflutes (remixers), Irc (artwork)”.

My Affection, the other side of ‘My Caress’ is still in progress. Enjoy The Silence and Dresses In Black have been recently added. Synthesis commented: “Dressed In Black has been a real match to me. My voice isn’t really made for it, melodies are really higher than the rest of DM songs, but I love that song and the Raph version is incredible. At the end, I’ve recorded a version of which I’m proud of. Tomorrow I will probably upload some samples of the forthcoming cd!”.
Fatherless Child is currently remixing the b-side of Ragazzo: Crystal Shard. Synthesis commented: “I cannot wait to listen what he will do!”.
Irc will design the artwork for Synthesis single Ragazzo. “I’m really happy for his collaboration. He asked me long time ago that he would be pleased to do some graphic works for me and now it’s the correct time. I’m sure he will do a good job. I’m looking forward to see his ‘concepts’!”.

Synthesis performed live his latest single Ragazzo at the Malgrate Festival in Malgrate (LC). Synthesis is very happy with his performance, even if the song wasn’t selected for the final of the Jul 16th. Part of the recorded video will be used by Sabrina Lavecchia for the videoclip of Ragazzo she is currently assembling.

Remixer The Skinflutes will appear on the forthcoming Ragazzo single. He realized a brilliant remix of the ‘b-side’ Crystal Shard. Synthesis commented: “I’m really happy for that! He did a great job! Some times ago I was just dreaming that remixers like Fatherless Child and The Skinflutes would have collaborated with me… but after a short time my dreams became a reality!”.

Synthesis, after a pre-selection, have been chosen to partecipate to an important music competition. Synthesis will perform his latest single Ragazzo. The competition is in Malgrate (LC) from the Jul 14th to the Jul 16th.

Fatherless Child released 3 fantastic versions of Ragazzo plus an instrumental one. Synthesis, while remixing the ‘b-side’, is thinking to take 2 or 3 of them for the forthcoming single.
Synthesis has just chosen the ‘b-side’ for the single Ragazzo. It will be Crystal Shard. Synthesis is currently mixing the vocal version plus a couple of remix made by himself. Another version or two could be made by the remixer ‘Fatherless Child’.

Fatherless Child will probably remix a song for the forthcoming Synthesis hit single ‘Ragazzo’. Synthesis commented: “I’m really happy with that. Fatherless Child is very good at mixing and, in addition, he could make a great job, as Ragazzo is almost an electronic song and he is a genius in remixing this kind of music. I’m looking forward to hear what he will do!”.

The DM tribute band ‘Mode For The Masses’ performed live at the ROCK SOUND CAFE’, Merone (CO), Italy. They played classic DM songs. Synthesis sang 2 songs with them: ‘Sister Of Night’ and ‘Little 15’. The performances were recorded with a video camera. The concert was really nice. Materials will be soon available in the Downloads section.
Reference section (under Remixes) is now online and fully functional!

Riccardo Garimberti (synths and programmings), Paolo Sala (guitars), Maurizio Rocca (bass guitar) and Francesco Sacchi (voice recording) helped him realizing the song. Synthesis is taking part to the Depeche Mode Remix Contest 2005, with the extended version of his January remix that appeared as a Strange-Love special. The remix is entitled It’s No Good, Synthesis Club 69 Extended Enhanced Version. This song will be included in the Synthesis Remixes Cd ‘Colors In Black Vision’.
